Upcoming Summer Tour Dates and New Live Videos

Hi folks,

It's been a while since we last wrote and we have quite a bit to catch you all up on and as is often the case, let's lead with a bunch of new tour dates

Here's a rundown: a free Celebrate Brooklyn! show, two more UK dates in Perth and Shetland, Bumbershoot in Seattle, ELLNORA in Urbana, IL, TURF in Toronto, Roots N Blues N BBQ in Columbia, MO, and Pilgrimage Festival in Franklin, TN.

Paul's trio, Haas Kowert Tice, was just in Franklin last night and has two shows in Asheville and Hickory, NC in early June, plus a slot supporting The Lonesome Trio in Nashville at 3rd and Lindsley.

Critter is back on his feet after his ACL injury and has a pair of dates this weekend with Julian Lage in Grass Valley, CA and Rouyn-Noranda, QC. They'll be back out west a few weeks later with shows in San Francisco and Santa Cruz, CA.

Noam has his own West Coast trip coming up soon with Stuart Duncan at the beginning of June with dates in Portland, LA, and Berkeley before heading inland for Pagosa Folk 'N Bluegrass in Colorado.

As for Thile, it's still a ways off, but he'll be taking a new Bach-leaning solo program on the road this fall. A few of those have already announced (you can find the specifics below) and more will be announced over the coming months

If you plan to come out to one of the upcoming PB shows, we recommend checking out our wares at the merch table but as we can't make our way to all of you, many of the new designs have been added to the online shop.

Front Row Boston were on hand filming the show in Boston at the House of Blues in March and have put the full set up online (along with some interview segments with Gabe and Thile). You can watch that here.

Now for just a few more videos you may have missed. The boys broke out their cover of The Strokes' "Reptilia" for the new season of The A.V. Club's A.V. Undercover. A different variety of throwback, here's "Rye Whiskey" being recorded to an Edison-style cylinder with help from the Center of Popular Music - the playback starts about halfway through the video.

Best,

Greg at Punch Brothers HQ
