Fall Updates and Tours

Hi folks,

We had such a fantastic time performing for you all during the American Acoustic tour over the summer and are looking ahead to a busy fall!

If you weren't able to make it to a show over the summer or forgot to swing by the merch table, new t-shirt designs have been added to our online store.

We're spent last week at Oberlin working on material for the next album and performed on campus at Finney Chapel.

We have one more show currently on the books in Storrs Mansfield, CT in April but otherwise things will be a bit quiet on the PB front until we have some new music for you all. That said, there are plenty of other projects and tours to hold you over in the meantime. You can find all the dates on the tour page, but here's a bit of a breakdown of what everyone's up to:

Paul's trio, Haas Kowert Tice, has added mandolinist Dominick Leslie as a fourth member and now go by the name Hawktail! Watch the video for their new song "Unless" and visit hawktailmusic.com to check out their upcoming West Coast tour dates. They also have a new album coming soon, keep an eye on their new Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts.

Thile's second season as host of A Prairie Home Companion kicks off tomorrow with guests Chris Stapleton, Julien Baker, Laurie Kilmartin and Emily King. As you may know, Chris writes an original Song of the Week for each episode and he recently recorded new studio versions of some favorites from last season. The album, Thanks for Listening, will be released on December 8 on Nonesuch Records - you can listen to "Thank You, New York" and pre-order the album now at ChrisThile.com. In addition to APHC, Thile has select solo dates and a European tour with Brad Mehldau coming up over the next two months.

Critter and Julian Lage will be back out on the road next week starting with a batch of Texas dates before leading them to the Southwest and LA for a Largo show. They've also added a late October stop in Woodstock, NY before they leave for Japan in November. Congratulations are in order as last week Noam won the IBMA's Banjo Player of the Year award for the second time! His fall solo tour begins later this month and will take him all across the states. For a preview of the show, here's Noam performing "Hen of the Woods" at Paste Studios in NYC.

Best,

Punch Brothers
