Hi folks,

Before launching into all the different locations and formations you can see the boys this spring and summer, there is some exciting Punch Brothers news afoot! We'll be releasing Ahoy! on vinyl on April 16th in (early) celebration of Record Store Day. You'll be able to pick it up at your local independent record store and online in our Shop.

Now, starting with the most pressing touring engagements: Paul will be hitting the road with Brittany Haas and Jordan Tice starting TONIGHT for a series of trio shows on the west coast (and then another run of east coast dates in June). You can find all the pertinent details on the newly-minted

Critter will be teaming up with fellow guitarist Julian Lage in the recording studio next month and on the road this August. If you live in NYC and would like a preview, they'll be test driving some of the new material tonight at Pete's Candy Store in Brooklyn at 9pm (it will fill up very quickly so we would suggest arriving early).

Noam has plenty on his plate as well, starting with his Midwest shows with Bryan Sutton, Ronnie McCoury, Luke Bulla, and Barry Bales next month.  He'll also be performing alongside Tim O'Brien at Telluride, Grey Fox, and RockyGrass this summer. More Noam-specific musings and touring details can be found at

Chris Thile and Michael Daves have a set of West Coast shows coming up this May in San Francisco, LA, Portland, and Seattle.  And as a reminder, you'll also be able to see the duo at Grey Fox in Oak Hill, NY in July.

Tickets for Thile's tour next month with Brad Mehldau have been moving fast so you may not want to wait too long to grab yours. Looking further ahead into 2013, Chris has some live shows under The Goat Rodeo Sessions banner with Yo-Yo Ma, Stuart Duncan, Edgar Meyer, and Aoife O'Donovan in August followed by some solo dates later in the year. These will continue to sporadically announce throughout the spring, but you can find the currently disclosed itinerary here.

So between all these different ventures, we'd like to think we have something for a wide swath of you but there is even more to come, so don't get too discouraged just yet if we haven't recommended a show in your general vicinity.
