Summer Check In

Hi folks,

It's been a bit since we last wrote so it seemed like a good time to do a quick catch up on what everyone will be up to this summer.

Next week, we'll be performing at the Oregon Bach Festival in Eugene on Tuesday, July 5 and Noam has a solo show the next night in Portland at Mississippi Studios.

Following a trip back out to Lyons, CO for RockyGrass on July 31, we set off across the Pacific for a residency at the Blue Note in Tokyo from August 3-5. The special Japanese edition of The Phosphorescent Blues is set to be released on July 20 and can be pre-ordered here.

We then head to Australia for a quick tour with stops in Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney, and Melbourne from August 8-13.

On August 20, we'll return to Oregon for a very special benefit show at Penner Ash Wine Cellars in Newberg. In addition to a Punch Brothers set, the event includes complimentary wine and a meal prepared by chef Scott Dolich with all proceeds to benefit the Children's Cancer Association and their MyMusicRx program. You can get tickets here.

Thile's tour with Béla Fleck kicks off in just a few weeks in Omaha, NE on July 12. The tour then takes them to Fish Creek, WIInterlochen, MIGeneva, NYGrey Fox Bluegrass Festival in Oak Hill, NY, and Portsmouth, NH before heading west to wrap things up in Oakland and Los Angeles, CA. Chris has also added a pair of solo shows this September in Chapel Hill, NC and Greenville, SC.

As a reminder, you can catch Critter and Julian Lage at Lime Kiln Theater in Lexington, VA on August 26 and in Big Fork, MT on August 28-September 4 teaching and performing at Crown Guitar Workshop & Festival. (You can also study guitar with Critter online at Sonic Junction)

Speaking of teaching, The Kennedy Center shared a live stream of our How to Play with Others workshop from American Acoustic this past weekend. If you missed it, you can now watch a full replay here.

Best,

Punch Brothers
