1. Punch Bowl grew out of the bass line that now anchors every verse (Greg was playing out his frustration after a long day in Xplorador, Punch Brothers' trusty 15 passenger rental van).
2. The lyrics from Part One of The Blind Leaving the Blind's first movement come not from the perspective of the story's main character, but rather from its main character's departing love interest.
3. Punch Brothers all refer to the last four minutes and twenty five seconds (Part Two) of the first movement as "Red Handed".

Due to a family medical issue, Punch Brothers have been forced to reschedule four shows next week. We are sorry for the inconvenience! Below is the updated info:
The April 9th show in Sellersville, PA is now scheduled for May 15th
The April 10th show in Charlottesville, VA is now scheduled for May 16th.
The April 11th show in Annapolis, MD is now scheduled for May 17th. The Early show is at 1 pm, and the Late show is scheduled for 4 pm.

Thile has 2 or 3 random “fashion checks” per tour. Are the shirts all ironed? Is the hair all fashionably messy? Are the shoes properly soiled? Are there any corduroy violations? Punch Brothers appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Friday Feb 29th--if you missed it, or want to see their performance of "Punchbowl" again, NBC has the episode on their website for the next week or so. You can go to the Feb 29th episode, and click on Chapter 6--that'll take you right to the band's portion of the show!
